Logo Evolution
An interesting study in the way well-known logos have evolved over time to how we recognize them today. Visualization created by The Logo Company.Mad Men Collection by Estée Lauder
I’m not much for makeup. My daily routine includes my homemade tea tree oil/grape seed application and a layer of SPF moisturizing lotion. On special occasions, I put on some natural color lip gloss and some subtle eye shadow. So when I first saw a post about retro packaging for Estée Lauder, I wasn’t terribly interested… until the words “Mad Men” caught my eye. Yes, this retro line isn’t just inspired by the 1960’s - it is a complete revival of an original design from the era. I would buy the compact case just to own it!The Ultimate Minimalist Playing Cards

I love how the wheat beer is called “Weekender”. Not only do these guys know their beer, but they found the perfect designer to team up with. Designed by Alchemy LTD.Vin De Mesies
Simple, elegant, beautiful. Variations on a theme make for great wine packaging. Designed by Txell Gràcia.Hocus Pocus Wine
Designed by _Co Partnership. The ingredients? Grapes, sunshine, honesty in a bottle, and no tricks!Kokeshi Matches
In 1994, Kokeshi Match drew faces of KOKESHI (traditional Japanese wooden dolls) on each match by hand, as a part of a group exhibition. In 2000, they started mass producing the matches, with a myriad of different faces printed on the match heads. The Panda is my favorite, but if you want to see their full line, just visit their website!Double Vienna
